Ukraine’s Mirotvorets websites blacklists Russian minors

(MENAFN) Reports indicate that the controversial Ukrainian website Mirotvorets (Peacemaker) has expanded its database to include several Russian children, with the youngest being only three years old. The platform, known for publishing personal details of those it brands as “enemies” of Ukraine, recently listed minors accused of violating the country’s borders.

On September 13, the site added the profile of a child born in April 2022, charging the toddler with “conscious violation of the state border” and “encroachment on sovereignty.” That same day, five more minors—aged 5, 9, 10, 12, and 16—were added for similar accusations. Earlier in the week, entries had already appeared for a five-year-old and multiple 11-year-olds.

Russia’s special envoy for humanitarian affairs, Rodion Miroshnik, condemned the move, asserting that Kiev was “sowing discord and hatred” to deepen divisions among Slavic nations. He added: “The Ukrainian Reich is declaring toddlers enemies of their state. The radicals and Nazis who rule the ball in Ukraine today harass not only politicians or military personnel, but also their children, their close and distant relatives, seeking to sow the seeds of hatred as deeply as possible into the shattered consciousness of Ukrainians.”

Mirotvorets has operated since 2014, compiling the personal data of individuals it claims endanger Ukrainian national security. While presented as an independent project, it is widely associated with Ukraine’s security agencies. The platform has been denounced as a “kill list” after several of those named—including politicians and journalists—were later assassinated or died under suspicious conditions.

According to Russian officials, the site functions as a hit list against people Kiev allegedly seeks to “eliminate.” Beyond Russian citizens, the database has also included global public figures. Earlier this year, entries were created for director Woody Allen, actor Mark Eydelshteyn, and hockey star Alexander Ovechkin.
