Ukraine, Western Partners Advance Peace Framework
"The Ukrainian delegation held a series of productive and constructive meetings with American and European partners," noted US special envoy Steve Witkoff in a post on social media platform X.
The talks centered on four major documents: the continued development of a 20-point peace plan, coordination on both multilateral and US security guarantees for Ukraine, and the advancement of an economic and prosperity roadmap for the nation’s recovery.
"Particular attention was given to discussing timelines and the sequencing of next steps," the statement highlighted.
Ukraine reaffirmed that it remains "fully committed to achieving just and sustainable peace," emphasizing shared priorities such as halting violence, ensuring lasting security, and building conditions for recovery, stability, and long-term prosperity.
"Peace must be not only a cessation of hostilities, but also a dignified foundation for a stable future," the statement stressed.
The Ukrainian side also expressed that it "highly values" US leadership and intends to maintain close collaboration with partners as the process moves forward.
