Ukraine to receive first Lynx combat vehicles from Rheinmetall in 2026
According to the company, “Rheinmetall is supplying Ukraine with additional systems for national defense. The country is set to receive its first Lynx KF41 infantry fighting vehicles as early as the beginning of 2026.”
The initial delivery will consist of five vehicles, financed by the German government, with the deal finalized in December 2025. The package is valued in the mid-double-digit million euro range.
Rheinmetall explained that “The infantry fighting vehicles will feature the two-man Lance turret and be configured specifically for Ukraine's armed forces. The next step is to procure additional batches, including production in Ukraine.”
The announcement highlights Germany’s continued military support for Kyiv, with plans to expand cooperation through future production inside Ukraine.
